Our approach using ABA Therapy
At KIND ABA, we believe ABA should be understanding, collaborative, and deeply human.
Our approach is heavily inspired by the principles of “Today’s ABA,” developed by Greg Hanley, which emphasizes building trust, listening first, and creating environments where children feel safe, respected, and genuinely happy to learn. Rather than focusing solely on reducing behaviors, we focus on understanding the why behind them while teaching meaningful communication, independence, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy skills.
We strive to create sessions that are child-led, trauma-informed, assent-based, and rooted in connection. By prioritizing joy, rapport, and emotional safety, we help children develop skills in ways that honor who they are — because meaningful progress happens best when children feel understood, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
